Operating Instructions
Before starting, ensure the bottle filler is connected correctly and that all fittings are secure.
Filling Procedure
- Turn the top lever clockwise to close the beer valve.
- Tighten the black exhaust valve (right-hand side) fully.
- Place the bottle onto the filler and secure it.
- Turn the top lever to the left to allow CO₂ to enter the bottle.
- Continue until the bottle is fully pressurised. If using a PET bottle, it will become firm when the correct pressure is reached.
- Turn the top lever to the right to open the beer valve.
- At the same time, slowly open the black exhaust valve by turning it counter-clockwise. This allows CO₂ to escape while beer flows smoothly into the bottle.
- Fill the bottle slowly. A 750ml bottle should take approximately 15 seconds to fill for best results.
- When the beer reaches the neck of the bottle:
- Tighten the black exhaust valve clockwise to stop the beer flow.
- Turn the top lever to the left to close the beer valve. The lever should finish in the straight-ahead position.
- Remove the bottle and cap it immediately to retain freshness and carbonation.
Tips for Best Results
- Chill both the beer and bottles before filling.
- Fill slowly to minimise foaming.
- Keep the bottle under pressure throughout the filling process.
- Cap bottles immediately after filling to preserve carbonation and reduce oxygen exposure.
The UBREW4U Stainless Steel Counter Pressure Bottle Filler makes it easy to achieve professional, brewery-quality bottled beer at home while preserving the flavour, aroma, and carbonation of every batch.
